In ancient belief systems there are nine dimensions that effect our reality. Gaia is the Greek persona that represents the Earth. The first dimension is the Earth's core or in mythology the Earth's heartbeat. Nobody is sure what exactly is going on in the core but it is suspected that heavy molten materials create a fusion like reaction. It creates a strong magnetic force which we are insulated from. Einstein predicted gravity as a force related to mass but lesser known Tesla thought of it as a weak magnetic reaction. The core being diamagnetic which is a strong reaction that can have an effect on things like water. Gravity being a weaker magnetic reaction that creates a rotating effect. The rotation also has a centrifugal effect keeping things in their place. If you fly a rocket straight up into the air the coriolis effect keeps the rocket above the spot it took off from even though the earth is rotating.
The second dimension refers to the liquid magma, crust, terrain, and water that insulates us from the magnetic effects. It keeps us safe from the radioactivity of the core.
The third dimension is exactly as it sounds the 3D world that our lives take place in. Most people focus the majority of their lives on the third and fourth dimension. Reality is how something observes it is defining it. The more observation the more the rules apply.
The fourth dimension is the collective knowledge of observation. There is an experiment using photons that helps understand this principle. When light particles or photons are observed they take a predictable path. When not observed the particle is in more than one place at one time. Our modern take on a tree falling in the forest.
The fifth dimension is deep emotions the concept of love and hate. This just defines things as a positive or negative experience. It may also be negative and positive forces such as an electron and protons or matter and anti matter. It could also be the difference between dark energy and dark matter. It is difficult and rare for someone to reach this plane of existence. According to some to get passed the fifth dimension requires 51% negative karma. Acetics or Sages often suffer to get to this dimension.
The sixth dimension is of geometric and fractal patterns. The duplication patterns that allow cells to join together and become something more complex. There are more non human cells than human cells in the body. Our body to atomic and sub atomic cells and particles is it's own galaxy or universe.
The seventh dimension is the resonant frequencies that hold our reality together. Everything has a resonant frequency and it determines how our senses perceive it. Gasses, light, plasma, solid object, and sound come from the seventh dimension of perception but are observed in the third dimension.
The eighth dimension is light or more specifically the speed of light. The speed of light defines things like the atomic weight of something. If the speed of light was changed our physics principles would change. Something or some beings could exist with a different definition of the speed of light and occupy the same perceived space without interaction.
The ninth dimension is time. It is what keeps events linear giving us past present and future. We monitor time accurately through radioactive decay also know as an atomic clock. We know the decay rate of carbon based on our perception. These are the nine dimensions of mystic belief as adapted by Byron Moore to his pseudoscience accult which had attracted so many followers.
Byron himself had a knack for attracting followers. The modern messiah had a strong influence which was becoming noticed. Jobless hippies is what most people in the area considered them. According to deprogrammers the cult would often use hallucinogenic drugs to try and tap into the dimensions defined. According to the doctrine only the nine dimensions were available until the believer leaves their body. The sixth dimension is the highest obtained in modern times. Drugs and other illegal activities caught the attention of the ATF, DEA, and FBI. Steven Douglas was an undercover agent chosen by the joint task force. He likely wasn't the only one but to keep the cover and avoid corruption he was led to believe he was on his own.
Intel allowed him befriend a drug dealer that procured the drugs for the group. It was not illegal to start a new religion or have controversial beliefs but once a group starts obtaining serious firepower they start getting noticed. An undercover operation had made controlled buys to get Andrew Finch the drug dealer to cooperate. Finch had kids and a lot to lose so it was an easy choice. He got to continue his business for his cooperation. Steven Douglas had the look and would work perfect for the role.
Douglas posed as Finch's long time friend who would make deliveries on his behalf. Steven Douglas was the name assigned to him complete with back story. A rebel who had questioned his religion and had a falling out with his conservative family. A criminal record with criminal trespass and theft in case the cult looked into that type of thing. Everything possible was thought of to give the persona something in common with the cult leader. A lost troubled soul that needed saving. The hook was baited and it was just a matter of time to get a bite. The cult leader was raised by his mother who was a drug addict before she died. Byron Moore's childhood allowed him to learn to manipulate people from an early age. The usual narcissistic traits of a cult leader with the necessary charm to attract followers. Moore had a clever alchemy of belief systems that made it seem like he was all knowing. Most cult leaders are male but often use female followers to attract other males to convert. This group had not reached a dangerous isolation stage but it was probably just a matter of time. This cult paid for there expenses by traveling to festivals and selling illegal drugs which attracted the attention of the DEA. They had began dabbling in arms dealing which attracted the ATF and FBI. For now Steven Douglas was just to observe and report activities. Most religions start as cults so there is a fine line.
Steven needed a way in and patience paid off. A female follower had taken notice of him and he was to inject himself into her life. Through Finch they were able to obtain her name and learned what they could. Heather Davis a high school dropout from a small town in Montana. She had met Byron's group while at a festival in Eugene Oregon. She was out of money and most of her friends had moved on with their life. Living on the streets with nowhere to stay she was easy prey for the cult. They gave her an accepting family that did not rebuke her for her lifestyle choices. Her family had enough and basically disowned her, at least her father. Her family became dysfunctional and the order that the cult provided made her feel at home.
The cult itself practiced meditation which they adapted as their form of prayer. They believed that ancient belief systems had 365 senses in addition to the nine earthly dimensions. Modern people only recognize the five senses but the cult believed the other senses were like muscles that had not been used. Through a conscious effort these senses would become stronger. Through deep meditation and breathing exercises the first step was to become aware of more senses. Controlling the mind and the body could lead to telepathy and control of the environment. The goal of the belief system was to ascend to a different plane of existence. It offered just enough science and mythology to attract a wide range of followers.
Like all clever belief systems it had it's own stories adopted from mostly ancient tales. To get someone to have faith requires them to adapt beliefs that are unlikely. Once followers embrace the irrational they are faithful. Byron Moore's belief system starts with an ancient being cursed with eternal life. The ancient one was the last to ascend the nine levels and beyond. According to the doctrine DNA originated somewhere else and is constantly seeking hospitable environments. Over time assimilation of building blocks creates more and more advanced organisms and observation begins. Before observation reality is not defined. The ancient one started as a single cell and lived out every existence before becoming an intelligent self aware being. The ancient one remembers every stage of existence unlike others who are reincarnated with a blank slate. The ancient one was considered dangerous and mankind had cut it down to nothing but a head in a box. It was in a deep state of meditation but could drive someone who made contact to madness. Byron believed a group of Free Masons were charged with keeping the head in the box from escaping and regenerating. With good it also brought evil which could corrupt most minds. Only a master of the nine dimensions could keep from going mad. Before that the ancient one was free to roam the earth. The ancient one could engage ascended beings that were once our gods. According to the doctrine these beings lived beyond time and could not be observed except in dreams and visions. These visions were often misinterpreted leading to unintended actions. Steven tried to take the belief system as serious as possible but would catch himself shaking his head as he read. Steven couldn't wait to get to the action and find out what the real motivations of the self appointed messiah really were. He needed to map out the group structure and their financial activities. Steven just needed to learn enough to impress Heather and get a step closer to the leadership. He couldn't just become a convert overnight he had to question the belief and allow the leader to take him under his wing. Meditation was his way into Heather's life. Next time she came by he would draw her into a conversation about Eastern philosophy and meditation. The cult had not escalated to violence of any kind but it was probably just a matter of time.
